You call this an ozzy greatest hits CD?! 20 yrs. of music in only 13 tracks?! What is wrong with these people? This has got to be the poorest metal cd compilation ever comprised. Now don't get me wrong, I like ozzy a heck of a lot, but this is just a poorly constructed compilation, and here are some reasosns why:

1.Black Sabbath (Demo) - Low quality, awful vocals, the original was better, need I say more?

2.War Pigs (Demo) - Just Like "Black Sabbath", low quality, messed up lyrics

3.Goodbye to Romance/Crazy Train/Mr.Crowley - good songs, but they needed to focus more on ozzy's other albums. That's all i have to say about these songs

4.Over The Mountain - a good song, probably would not have killed them to put at least 1 more track (Preferrably "Flying High Again") on here.

5.Paranoid (Live) - I like the original better

6.Bark At The Moon - This Is good, I can't really complain about this song, although I would have added "Rock N' Roll Rebel" or "Waiting For Darkness"

7.Shot In The Dark - The Best ozzy song of all, in my opinion. The newer version, sadly does not feature this song. It has been replaced with "Miracle Man" I don't understand why what would happen, that's ridiculous.

8.Crazy Babies - "Breakin' All The Rules" should have been on here instead of this song, enough said.

9. No More Tears (edit) - those awful sabbath demos are the reason this track had to be edited, beacause the original would not fit on here. I would rather see this song off the compilation than have to put up with this awful cut version.

10.Mama I'm Coming Home - No complaints here, this is the best ozzy ballad I have ever heard period.

11.I Don't Want To Change The World (live) - No Complaints here either, pretty good performance.

12.I Just Want You - "Perry Mason"? hello where are you, why aren't you on this CD? This is it? "I Just Want You" is the best the idiot who created this cd could do? Unbelieveable!

13.Back On Earth - This song is the only reason I gave the album 3 stars instead of 1 , not a bad song at all.

You're better off buying the individual albums, Unless you want to hear "Back On Earth", or you are just starting to discover the greatness that is ozzy. Otherwise, DON'T BUY THIS CD! I can't stress that enough. OZZMAN RIPPUS OFFITH When this disc came out in 1998, I purchased it the first day, completely unaware that it was a greatest hits compilation. When I brought it home and realized what I had done I was a little dissapointed. This was the first battle I would lose to the OZZY marketing demons known as Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, and their trained monkies John and Jack.
The thing was, at the time, there was a video on MTV for the at the time new release BACK ON EARTH, which, I think, is actually a pretty good track. Apparently it was an unreleased track from 1995's OZZMOSIS, which, is an album that takes a lot of abuse from Ozzy fans, but I've always considered pretty close to classic status. The song in question here, has that sort of sound to it, a strange electronic metal sound.. I dig, I dig.
But the rest is hits. The basics; CRAZY TRAIN, CRAZY BABIES, and BARK AT THE MOON. A few live cuts (eh) and some edited versions of songs you love. Nothing all that special, other than the two SABBATH demos at the beggining. No DIARY or anything really exciting.
You may find BACK ON EARTH to be a curiosity, thats the only real reason I would pick this one up. Buy For The Sabbath DEMOs !!! The rest of the album is exactly the same as on the full albums with the exeption of no more tears wich the cut, ran-together, shortened the solo, basicaly butchered tyhe song. anyway the demo of black sabbath is the best verion EVER. sabbath added another slow section with some geat lryics,"child calls out for it's mother, mother screaming in the fire" and the music is just so mutch rawer, the Butler's bass is overpowering and Tony's gutiar is a perfict combination, he has more of an edge to his distortion. if the original song was 5 out of 5 the demo is 8 out of 5, I dont lisen to the album version anymore.
as for war pigs this version is known as "Walpurgis" meaning "Witches Sabbath" was supposed to be the version on the paranoid album and the album name but the record label first made sabbath change the name and lyrics of the song to "war pigs" due to the contoversy surrownding the band and having the album releace presided over by the head of the church of satian! next the album name was changed the title of the album to Paranoid without notifing the band, becuse it was thought to be more comerial. that is why on the album cover threr is a pig with a sword. any way . if the album version of war pigs is 5 of 5 the walpurgis version is 15 of 5. buy the this album for the two above mentioned songs both are in the best 5 songs ever recorded- which only the demo verions are the album versions is somewhere around 20 or so.

Fishscale
Fishscale
Fishscale Artist: Ghostface Killah (Usually ships in 24 hours) While the rest of the Wu-Tang Clan now seems a faint memory from hip-hop's '90s era, Ghostface has become a one-man force in maintaining the vitality of the Clan. The way he opens Fishscale with the frantic, hyperactive "Shakey Dog," is all the evidence you'd need to see how Ghost is that rare MC who's gotten better with age. His jumble of colorful wordplay is now honed into a sharp edge of drug-game narratives ("R.A.G.U."), neighborhood stories ("Barbershop"), honeyed pimp talk ("Big Girl") and braggadocio raw enough to melt minds ("Be Easy"). Backing him up are both familiar partners-in-rhyme like Raekwon (who sounds his best in years), Cappadonna, and Trife and also a surprising squad of underground producers that includes Just Blaze, Pete Rock, MF Doom, and the late J-Dilla. One of the skit quips that Ghost hasn't been this focused since Supreme Clientele, his 2000 classic; that's no joke--this is his best since then. --Oliver Wang Truly his best since Supreme Clientele (4.5 out of 5) No lie. I read the reviews that claimed this album is his best solo album since Supreme Clientele. That pretty much hit it on the dot. Bulletproof Wallets and The Pretty Toney Album were pretty good, but they were somewhat disappointing by Tony Starks' standards. Even though there's no RZA production (which made me a little uneasy about getting this album, in addition to the Ne-Yo featured break-up song, Back Like That), this album is laced with plenty of smooth beats with old-school samples. If I didn't read the album notes, I probably would have thought that some of the tracks were produced by RZA. As usual, there are some funny skits (Heart Street Directions, Bad Mouth Kid). This album is Ghostface at his finest, back to the grimy, drug-related rhymes reminiscent of The funny thing is, Ghostface says he hasn't been under the influence of intoxicants for years (didn't smoke for 2+ years). Perhaps that's the reason why he has put out something this good. better than i expected this cd is all that, i definitely recommend you go get it, you won't be disapointed, ghostface is what's considered real hip hop, so while these little kids out here are stuck on laffy taffy, get ya mind right and cop 5 star album

top 5
whip me with a strap
be easy
momma
the champ
three bricks Classic Hopefully This Brings Back Real Rap. Don't Download The Album Just Buy It We Gotta Support Real Hip-Hop Artists Like This. Awsome Beats And Lyrics Make This Cd A Classic, Hopefully The Rest Of Wu-Tang Can Put Out Classic Solo Joints Like This In The Future. 50 Cent And The Rest Of G-Unit Wish They Could Put Out Albums This Good.

The Best of Simon Garfunkel
The Best of Simon Garfunkel
The Best of Simon Garfunkel Artist: Simon Garfunkel (Usually ships in 24 hours) Augmenting 1972's Greatest Hits with additional tracks, Best of... now stands as the preeminent one-disc introduction to the music of Simon Garfunkel. Containing everything Greatest Hits offered except for the live version of "59th Street Bridge Song" (the original studio hit resurfaces here) and the incandescent "Kathy's Song," the updated retrospective boasts 20 tracks, in contrast to its predecessor's 14 selections. Added to the mix are the likes of "Hazy Shade of Winter," "The Only Living Boy in New York," "Song for the Asking," and "My Little Town," a one-off the twosome did five years after they ended their phenomenally successful partnership. Remastered from the original source tapes, Best of... also boasts far superior sound to the earlier hits collection. --Steven Stolder Great Track Selection but Not So Great Sound! I know that relative to the other Greatest Hits album, the sound quality here is better but it's still very poor compared to what other remastered albums out there sound like. To be fair to the record company, nowhere on the cd does it say "remastered". It just says mastered by Vic Anesini. Let's hope they truly remaster this album soon by unearthing a much better master tape from the vaults. Volume levels are very low and although cleaner than the old versions, the overall sound is quite ordinary. Other than that, the track selections are very good and truly represent the best work that this dynamic duo have done. Simply great harmonies and great examples of brilliant songwriting on every track. The Best Of Simon Garfunkel, Hot, Hot, Hot. A really good easy listening CD. You MUST own this, no matter who you are Beautiful harmony, great songwriting, good guitarwork...yeah, that's SG for ya! Included here for your enjoyment are the Sound of Silence, Homeward Bound, I Am a Rock, Scarborough Fair/Canticle, Feelin' Groovy, A Hazy Shade of Winter, Mrs. Robinson, the Boxer, Bridge Over Troubled Water, the Only Living Boy in New York, El Condor Pasa (If I Could), America and My Little Town. Buy it, treasure it, pass it on to your kids. I love this artist and her work is sublime . . . peaceful, relaxing, lushly beautiful yet never overdone. Some of the most lyrical and beautiful pieces the ear will ever have the pleasure of hearing. Provocative and eerily beautiful! This album with a deceptively simple title is actually a rich and provocative tour de force by Carol Tatum, harpist and guiding force behind the Angels of Venice. Here, the innovative composer and one-woman-band performs all the accoustic and MIDI instruments herself, overdubbed track upon track to create an orchestra of sound around her clear, clean harp-playing. Depthful, mysterious and mellow, her mature compositions are consistently rewarding, affecting the listener on a deep and personal level. The style of her elegant, smooth and often spooky pieces is much like the gentler work of the full Angels of Venice ensemble, but nothing is missing on this solo release. I don't normally care for covers, but Tatum's arrangement of "Nothing Else Matters" is perfectly suited! "Parson's Farewell" is a moody, semi-exotic, modern arrangement of a Renaissance dance, something that Tatum does very well both here and on her other albums. "Starshine Lullaby" and "Non Allegra" are more straightforward harp songs, reminiscent of the sweet style of harpist Lisa Lynne. The apt title of track #2, "Persentio", is Latin for "to deeply feel" and that is how I like my music, whether as a player or a listener--deep and heartfelt. These qualities are Tatum trademarks and one of the reasons I so enjoy her work! To hear more of her lovely and intriguing compositions, try also "Angels of Venice", "Awake Inside a Dream" and "Music for Flute, Harp and Cello" by the Angels of Venice. Amazingingly beautiful... This is a wonderful album! Very peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for soaking in a hottub with wine and a friend... I won't bore you with details but the track Nothing Else Matters is worth the price alone!

Greatest Hits
Greatest Hits
Greatest Hits Artist: Red Hot Chili Peppers (Usually ships in 24 hours) Click Here for more information A Best of Collection would have been better... What were they thinking on this one. They arleady have a greatest hits collection from there early years. Which they should of included songs from that era but instead they go the californication route on this one and have songs from 89 and up. However, I'm not bashing this collection because it is a great disc and serves them justice for there new fans. I was excited to see Soul to Squeeze as it doesn't appear on any chili peppers albums, but I was disappointed that Can't Stop wasn't on here and they could've easily taken off Universally Speaking which is not a favorite of mine, and they could've added a couple of live tunes as well, instead we get 2 decent B-Sides which I do like. Hopefully they will learn from there mistakes and make a "The Very Best of the Red Hot Chili Peppers 1984-2006" or something along those lines and make this and What Hits collection obsolete! O well at least Stadium Arcadium will be coming out in May and I will have forgotton about this disc and be listening to that album non-stop, and from the live songs I've already heard from it, it's going to sound great. Nice Selection I have become pretty much a die hard chili pepper fan over the past several years and this was my first album. It is an excelent selecion for a first time listener.

Here are my views of each song:

Under the bridge- This is one of the greatest melodys of the 90's and shows the potential and how deep this band can go.
10/10
Give it away- This is a pretty good song but it is not one of my favorites.
7/10
Californication- This is the greatest song of the greatest album of the greatest band from the 80's on. It is the greatest sound my ears have ever heard.
10/10
Scar Tissue- cool melody and smart lyrics
8.5/10
Soul to Squeeze- Excelent song, but i would not have put it on the greatest hits.
7.5/10
Otherside- Amazing song. one of the best "rock" songs the chili peppers have come up with. Great solo
10/10
Suck My Kiss- This is an awesome song with great slap bass.
9/10
By the Way- This is probably my favorite song to watch them perform. Not to special though
8/10
Parallel Universe- well written song
8.5/10
Breaking the Girl- The sound of this song compares to under the bridge but the lyrics are not as meaningful
9.5/10
My Fiends- I wanted to die when i heard this. there are so many better songs the chili peppers have come up with than this.
4/10
Higher Ground- Good choice to use one of stevie wonders songs. I like it
8.5/10
Universally Speaking- nice melody
8/10
Road Trippin- i like this song but i would have put i different song in its place
7.5/10
Fortune Faded- i dont no where in hell this came from. but its a pretty cool tune
7.5/10
Save the population- good chorus
8/10

In conclusion, this is a pretty good selection but is missong some of my favorites. I think i migt reccomend to get californication and Blood Sugar sex magik together instead of getting this one. Wow! This CD is really cool! Wow! This CD is really awesome! This CD has my favorite songs on here! But... I wish that it had "Can't Stop" on there too. Oh well. It's still a very awesome CD!

I can still remember the video from "Otherside" even though it's been a long time since I saw it. I can remember it very well. In the video it was dark and pretty weird. There was a guy with red lips as wings and he was flying. That was so cool! There was another video that scared me! I saw it on VH1 and I couldn't watch all of it. The video was "Can't Stop." It started with a red tunel or a slide that you see in a playground. It was one of those long tunel or slide. Then it goes inside the red thing as the music is playing. Then suddenly... Boom! It's inside the red tunel or slide and there's a guy inside it. He looks like he's stairing at you! That really scared me I had to change the channel.

I still like this CD! But I don't like to eat red hot chilli peppers because they're too spicy!

Definitive All-Time Greatest Hits
Definitive All-Time Greatest Hits
Definitive All-Time Greatest Hits Artist: John Denver (Usually ships in 24 hours) Click Here for more information Sub-par John Denver I didn't like this one at all. The phrasing on his standed hits is rushed and choppy. Not the easy flow that I have liked for so long. The CD "John Denver's Greatest Hits" is much better. Devine A great addition to anyones collection. This is a great mix of Denver from the begining and the middle of his carrier. Disk two I wasn't real impressed with, but the first disk is will worth it. It is also nice to have the second one for all four of the unrealsed songs. The "Country Boy" does good. In this cynical era of chattering moon-bats, it's nice to know that we can still snuggle in the warm vibes of John Denver. Knowing that he wasn't designed to be some poseur, or a pretty-boy, he simply let the music speak for itself. And we, the listening public, have reaped the rewards. John Denver was not another sycophantic brooder who blindly catered to the doomesayers lurking around every corner, and we, his legions of fans, delight in singing with him about those "country roads" that will inevitably lead us all to the utopia he predicted. On your feet for the bowl-cutted boy wonder.
